Donations of Historical items

The Groton Historical Society is authorized to accept donations for the sole use of the Society to keep and exhibit to the general public.   The Groton Historical Society may exchange duplicate items, loan items to other museums and/or determine the disposition of such donations that are not considered appropriate for storage or exhibition.  If an item is loaned or donated, The Groton Historical Society is considered free of any and all liability or claims arising out of keeping and exhibiting the loaned or donated property.  Before a donation can be accepted, a signed Artifact Donation Form must be completed.
